In collaboration with Urtegata.co, we conducted a pilot project to demonstrate the efficiency of EcoMine’s innovative heating system. The goal was to explore how Bitcoin mining technology could reduce heating costs while maintaining comfort and sustainability.
The picture above shows the warehouse space that we heated using 6 Bitcoin miners. So you can imagine the scale it can heat with more machines.

Heat Cost Reduction: The pilot successfully reduced heating expenses by an impressive 50%.
Environmental Impact: Leveraged waste heat from Bitcoin mining to eliminate reliance on conventional heating methods.
Sustainable Energy Use: Incorporated renewable energy sources to maximize efficiency and minimize the carbon footprint.
Pilot Details:
Location: Urtegata Community Hub, Oslo.
Duration: Six months (January–June 2024).
Setup: The EcoMine system was integrated into Urtegata.co’s shared facilities, including office spaces and event rooms.
Outcomes: Alongside reduced heating costs, the project generated additional revenue through cryptocurrency mining.
